The Cup of Forgiveness

Hello,

Does your family drive you crazy? Erma Bombeck once joked that insanity is hereditary-you get it from your kids. Maybe your parents are being the problem, payback for your time as a teenager. Sometimes it seems like the Creator had some big idea to make sure we are born to the wrong family just so we can have an adventure discovering who our true family is.

In my practice most of the pain that people have to recover from is the pain caused by our families. It's been a big part of my journey to heal from a painful childhood and the pain I had inflicted on my own daughter. Our families should be the safest place on earth, on every level and yet for so many the opposite is true. Having said that; I need to share something with you.

I don't know if you have heard, but this year we lost two people in our family. My maternal grandmother this summer at age 92 after a long bout with cancer and in the fall my nephew age 16 of suicide. Now my step brother is battling cancer that has spread to all the cells and we don't know how much longer we'll have him with us.

Our family is tight knit. We share the same sense of humor, work ethics, and values and we each have own little quirks and peeves. Good people who from time to time made some bad choices. We shared the attitude that life was about learning and to not to allow ourselves to be held back by a mistake, but to accept the consequences and to try to be better people because of it. Like a lot of families, over the years judgments, resentments and grudges crept in. As day to day life took over and we didn't get together as much to reconnect and get things cleared up.

My 16 year old nephew's sudden death was the sonic boom of all wake-up calls. I was holding my sobbing niece and heard myself whisper into her ear "Now you're going to know what families are for." And it was true. I was never so proud to be part of this family because personally and collectively we chose the path of Love.
When we tell people about this experience, we say that Love took over and led us through.

The morning we were to go make arrangements at the funeral home I woke up to a voice saying" Drink the Cup of Forgiveness before you come together to mourn." I saw my family doing a ceremony to commit to forgiveness of each other, ourselves and even my nephew so that our hearts were pure and open to one another so that we could be full support to one another with nothing between us but LOVE.
I told my family about it and they immediately agreed. It was SOMETHING we could DO when we felt so powerless.

That same night we came together. Because it was me that had gotten the message my family let me take over on what was to be said at the ceremony. We lit candles set out glasses and a bottle of wine. I began by reading a poem called "Childhood Friends" by Rumi that had a line I brought you a mirror. Look at yourself and remember me. To remind us we live in each others hearts and when we look at ourselves we see each other. When we are loving each other we love ourselves. When we hurt ourselves we hurt each other.
I said If you want see Sean and tell him love him, just look in the mirror, thats where he is., then passed a mirror and we each looked in the mirror and said I love you.

Let me explain something, I keep saying "I" but it wasn't me. It was too wise and loving. It was LOVE.

In the Christian tradition it is taught that before coming together for the Lord's Supper or Communion it is also called, we are to go to anyone we may have a problem with and ask forgiveness so that we can share communion with and open heart and a clear conscious. Our ability to receive forgiveness is in direct proportion to our ability to forgiven. Notice I didn't say how much God would or could forgive but your capacity to receive that forgiveness.
We are also taught that unless we love the brother we could see how could we love a God we can't see? I'm sure other religions teach this idea too; this is just the form I am familiar with.

A friend once shared a Sufi prayer with me I fully and freely forgive you for anything you have done to me in the past, are doing to me know or may do to me in the future and I ask that you fully and forgive me for what I have done to you in the past, am doing to you now and may do to you in the future. I release you pray you release me, let there only be love between us.

I talked about these concepts to my family and then said as we drink this cup of forgiveness, let it be our agreement and commitment to forgive one another, to let there only be love between us.

There's so much more to tell about everything surrounding my nephews death. Too much to tell in an email; but let me say this: It healed my family. It healed me.
We were able to be full support for one another and for all of our friends. We have also been able to receive the help we need from family and friends. I know my friends have been wonderful to me during this time.

My mother asked that we drink the Cup of Forgiveness at my Grandmother's memorial which was also our family reunion in October. I got to share this little talk with over 50 relatives and they all went for it. I will never forget the sight of those 50 people shifting consciousness and watch the light of love start to shine in that room. What a gift! I am set for the next 20 Christmases.

People are encouraging me to writing more about Sean and everything that happened because it has transformed us all. My family wants to share what we learned and experienced during this tragedy, we also know this story is still unfolding.

I invite you to consider creating your own ceremony of forgiveness. Maybe you can't do it with family yet. You can start with your friends who make up your current tribe of support. Even if you have to do it alone in front of a mirror, maybe that's the best place to start.

Make room in your life for the good things by clearing out those old resentments and grudges.

PS It's been 5 years since I first wrote this article and in those 5 years we have kept the tradition of the Cup of Forgiveness in my family affirming at every family gathering "Let there only be love between us". Different family members have shared this same story and ceremony with others grieving a loss
and the response is the same as what we experienced. Healing,love and peace.

Know Thyself - Know Your Spiritual DNA

Our most recent discussions on the One Command Yahoo group have been truly deep and self-revealing, the willingness of the members to open their life experiences to others and share their recognition of how much self-awareness enhances their ability to change your lives for the better has been a blessing.

Many times people ask what to Command for...and the best answer will always be, What do you want instead (of what you have). To help that along, it can be very useful to find out what programs you have been running that have gotten in your way.

We know from quantum physics and psychology that biochemically, biologically and energetically, we take in information that is transmitted as chemicals throughout our body and then creates or changes our DNA. We come in with ancestral programs, we take on cultural and family programs and we have inherent behavioral DNA programs - all information that shapes how we think, perceive the world, and behave.

And beneath all of that is our Spiritual blueprint, the programs that we universally share that come from Source. These are the programs that hold our integrity, our compassion, our sense of fairness, our love - and nowhere in that blueprint will you find fear.

Fear is incorporated in your core behaviors, like the flight/fight responses, and in your learned behaviors like family beliefs and cultural beliefs, and in your personal set of perceptual behaviors that shape how you interpret the world and how you react in response to those perceptions.

The very best part is that as you dig into what is going on in your life, from your dreams to your beliefs to your daydreams, and as you allow yourself to be aware of all the ways you have viewed the world and how and why you make the choices you have made, you have even more freedom and more information about What you want instead.

All of your stories of self-discovery are you gifts to yourself, your gifts of self-recognition, your gifts of self-revelation - and at that point - you get to make more and more and more decisions and choices to use your inherent courage to behave from Source, from your Spiritual DNA blueprint - the you that is in complete alignment with Greater Capacity.

Hello,

Over the last few month's I have been offering Teleconferences that have to do with

aligning to one's purpose to fulfill your mission on the planet so you can do business,

build relationships, serve others and essentially do everything in a way that not only feeds

your heart and soul, but frees you and everyone in your life to live their heart's desire.

The last Teleconference - Transforming Resistance into Resilience was one of my most

popular calls ever, and thanks to everyone who registered for that call.

We all deal with resistance to change from time to time and when we meet the resistance

honestly it frees up so much energy to create and attract the things we desire.

I know it seems strange to follow up a series that deals with aligning to ones' purpose,

commanding clarity and transforming resistance - all calls dealing with everyday

emotions offering practical steps to meet the limitations with a subject that seems...

...well.. a little Woo Woo to some. But it makes total sense to explore this aspect

of who you are and it has everything to do with your success in whatever arena

of life you choose to play and work in.

There are so many reasons this work is valuable; in this message I could talk

about the science of the DNA and how over the centuries we have literally

turned off genes that held the keys to extraordinary abilities because of fears and

limiting beliefs.

That now because of the big shifts that are happening in our culture and on our planet,

our DNA is activating those dormant abilities and creating new programs

to adapt that cause a new sense of awareness - some call extra sensory perception - and find

they know things but don't know why.

I could also tell you that because of all the over-stimulation in our environment, all of

the earth changes, the pollution, the changes in culture and economy, our unconscious

mind goes on a search for strategies to adapt to and master our environment.

It will search your own experience and knowledge in the known world, if it can't find the

information it seeks, then it goes to the Morphorgenic Field that surrounds the DNA, which has

encoded within it everything that has been known by those who share your DNA.

If it finds a successful survival or adaptation program it will activate it, including the limitations.

The reason this is so important is because at a time we need to be at our best in order to

simply survive - those limitations have to be more than cleared, they have to be transformed.

There's a lot of important information about how this all gets set up and held in the

morphogenic field of the DNA, which I will tell you about in the teleseminar.

But that's not why the teleseminar on March 15th at 7 pm CST is so critical!

You have heard this next part, so I will summarize...

We all have a sense of purpose.

If you have listened to our Wednesday morning teleconferences, past teleseminars

or been to our live events, you have probably heard me say that we all have a sense

of a purpose, a mission here on the planet. We might not know what it is but we

are pretty sure we are screwing it up.

We all have a greatness within that send us inner messages that tell us what is possible.

You may have also heard from either Asara or me that your hopes, wishes and desires

are messages from your invisible self - letting you know what is possible for you.

We all have family or cultural programming that cause us pain and separates us from

our greatness within.

It's our conditioning through family programming and beliefs about our

experiences and how we identified ourselves within the context of the stories we

tell ourselves about our experience; that keep us from acting on those hopes,

wishes and desires.

Because of this sense of mission or purpose, unexpressed inner desires, and the pain

of our programming, we lose sight of who we are and where we belong.

It's amazing to talk to people of all walks of life, who have had all kinds of experiences,

who are each unique, talented and wonderful in so many incredible ways and yet, in nearly

every instance, some version this sentiment is expressed.

They say things like:

"I'm strange - I'm weird - I'm not like my family - I'm not like other people in my business- the people

at work look at me funny sometimes - I'm just not good enough."

Most people walk around with these thoughts and feelings looking for the one who

"gets" them and accepts them for who they are. Unfortunately, they will never find the

one until they become the one.

Do you think your parents walked around with those feelings? What about their parents?

It's more than the fact that we will be dealing with these feelings and why you

may be dealing with them in ways that are surprising - glitches, broken agreements,

What Happened to Me...

One of the great blessings in my life was meeting Asara Lovejoy. When I was a student at her

school I felt I had finally found my people. They spoke the language I understood, described

experiences I was having and there was a space and appreciation for my particular "weirdness".

Even after I shared my most intimate secrets and told of my worst crimes, they still loved me.

I told a story today about my friend but didn't tell you the results he got as
as result of applying the principals of The One Command

I was telling about my friend and how he was trying to rebuild his life.
He had negative self talk and at the time we were visiting he has having

Why do I feel dread in getting together with my family during the holiday season.

Holidays tend to conjure up images of elaborate place settings, snow dusted rooftops and togetherness. Yet, many people do not feel warmed by the anticipation of the winter holidays. In fact, they feel downright panic stricken.

One of the reasons that people feel so stressed about getting together during the holidays is because expectations are so incredibly high. Truth be told, when everyone goes home for the holidays, rarely is it a perfect, made-for-TV event.

People have hopes that holiday get-togethers will generate a kind of “It’s a Wonderful Life” closeness that may be missing at other parts of the year. The reality is that in many families chronic clashes plague parents, children, siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles for generations. And that’s even before we consider the in-laws!

There’s nothing wrong with conflict; it’s one of the ways in which we learn to master our emotions and, over time, form better ways of relating to others. But stress levels rise as we plan for Thanksgiving and the winter holidays because of the heartfelt desire to have a conflict free experience. Ironically, the strong desire to have things go just right often results in things even going worse. That’s because the expectation of potential conflict results in body language and behavior that just tends to get everyone else even more upset.

Taking the right approach to family reunions won’t guarantee a warm and fuzzy night of holiday cheer, but it could lead to a more comfortable evening for everyone. Here’s how to start:

Keep expectations real. Don’t expect a Hollywood moment when you walk in the door. If every holiday your parents tell you that your hair looks awful, you can be sure that it’ll happen again. If you expect something different, then you set yourself up for disappointment.
Take care of business before the clan meets. If you are frustrated with your brother for forgetting your birthday, try to work it out with him beforehand so you don’t go into the holiday holding a grudge.
Kill ‘em with kindness. One of the most powerful ways that you can minimize conflict is to genuinely project a sense of warmth and openness. When your uncle confronts you with your shortcomings. Thank him or her for their observation and concern, and move on.
See the good in everyone. That’s what the holiday spirit is all about, after all. Each of the members of your family is trying to do good the way he or she knows how. If you keep that in mind, you’ll be more sympathetic to the stupid things your family members say and do.

Getting together for the holidays with your family can be stressful. But if you maintain realistic expectations and have a forgiving attitude, you won’t dread it as much. In fact, it may be something that you look forward to next year.

I like the simplicity of this advice particularly keeping the expectations real. You are stressed, they are stressed. Everyone is coming to have a good time and everyone is a little nervous.

I think it is important to clear the air before you go, but if you can't you can apply The One Command.

I dreaded going home for the holidays for years, I had one relative in particular that would drive me mad. Every family gathering that involved this person was shear torture for me and nothing I knew to remedy the situation helped.

This is the reason that in our seminars we teach accepting 100% responsibility for what is created in your life. We must commit to learning never to blame another for the pain you feel, nor to complain about anything that life brings to your door.

This doesn't mean to be accepting of bad or abusive behavior nor does it mean to
become complacent or apathetic to wrong doing. It means to never hand over your emotional well-being or potential to prosper or do good over to someone else. Your emotional state is your own and your potential is unlimited every second.

Do you get the Holiday Blues?

The University Of Maryland published a report about a phenomenon called the Holiday Blues. (Not to be confused with Seasonal Affective Disorder which is a clinically diagnosed mood disorder that usually occurs during the winter months.)

The Holiday Blues often occur due to the following factors.

increased stress
fatigue
unrealistic expectations
inability to be with family
memories of past holiday celebrations
over commercialization
change in diet
change in daily routines

Some recommended steps to deal with Holiday Blues are:

Do's and Don'ts to Manage Holiday Blues

The DO's of managing holiday blues:

Do follow the three basics for good health:

...eat right.

...get plenty of rest.

...exercise regularly.

Do set realistic goals:

...organize your time.

...make lists.

...prioritize.

...make a budget and follow it.

Do let go of the past and create new or different ways to celebrate.

Do allow yourself to feel sad, lonely or melancholy -- these are normal feelings,

particularly at holiday times.

Do something for someone else.

Do enjoy activities that are free.

Do spend time with people who care about you.

Do spend time with new people or a different set of friends or family.

Do contact someone with whom you have lost touch.

Do give yourself a break -- plan to prepare (or buy) one special meal, purchase one special gift, and take in one special event. The rest can be ordinary, but will seem special because of the time of year and the people you're with.

Do treat yourself as a special holiday guest.

The DON'Ts of managing holiday blues:

Don't drink too much alcohol.

Don't overindulge in holiday foods, especially those that are high in sugar and fat.

Don't have unrealistic expectations of yourself or others.

Are Resentments, Grudges and Regrets Keeping You from Prospering?

In the seminars I share the story about how I became debt free last year. I had canceled all my credit cards a few years ago and had been steadily paying them off along with some odd accounts. One account I couldn't seem to get paid off had to do with an old unemployment benefit I had to repay and the delinquency had led to a court judgment being issued.

I was quite embarrassed by this and didn't tell anyone.

For almost 7 years I worked to pay off this debt. It actually wasn't that much. I could easily have afforded small payments and had it all paid back in less than two years; but it seemed I would hit a certain point and stop making payments. Things would "come up" and I would put off the payment saying to myself "I'll take care of it this month."

When I went into business with Asara Lovejoy to launch The One Command and The One Command Programs three years ago I had about $2500 in debt left to pay off, an amount that could have been easily paid off in the first month of business. But strange thing, it didn't occur to me that the business I was working with Asara was the way I could pay my own bills.

I had an idea that there was Asara's money and debt, my money and debt and the business money and debt. Which is actually quite reasonable, but emotionally I was holding back.

When I was growing up my family had a series of small businesses; at various times we owned several neighborhood C-Stores, a cafe, a concession stand, a dirt hauling business and a few other sidelines. In our blended family we had 5 kids and from the time I was about 11, we all worked in these business and none of us got paid. I started getting jobs outside the family businesses when I was 14 by lying about my age. That was the money I used to buy any clothes my parents didn't provide beyond the once a year school shopping, Christmas and the summer outfit purchases, music and other teenage necessities. Working was how I took care of myself.

When I went into business with Asara I tried to keep this model going and Asara couldn't understand my "agenda" or why I kept pulling my energy from the business to earn money instead of focusing as she was on the business. She'd say "You never made the decision to let the business support you."

Intellectually, I could roll with it, but emotionally it just felt wrong.

Finally, we were having a discussion one day with a good friend of ours and I was telling her about how I grew up and we were talking about how I felt the need to have "my own business" even though The One Command was mine and Asara's.

Asara started talking about me pulling my energy out again and I blurted out "I didn't know I wasn't going to be able to take care of myself!" And the whole pattern laid out and at the core of it was resentment against my parents for not taking care of me.

At the base of the resentment was the pain.

These two emotions kept me from getting financially free. Moreover, these emotions kept me from being in the fullness of who I knew I could be and from taking my gifts to the world in an authentic way.

By consistently going into the Theta brainwave and making commands I was able to transform those negative and limiting emotions and consciously create what I wanted instead from my greater capacity.

The results? Asara and I came into alignment with our business and was able attract
more customers and joint venture partners, my debt was settled once and for all and
now I can manifest much faster. There are so many wonderful things that have come as
a result of transforming just two thoughts, it makes it easier to face the hard stuff and allow
the good stuff to arrive.

Hello All

I get phone calls and emails all the time from people who
say they are using The One Command but "it's not working".

A lot of time has been devoted to this topic in the past, but
one aspect folks don't seem to get is the 7th step:
Inspired Action.

I was watching a program on the Lifetime network called "The Fairy Job Mother" where a woman named woman Hayley Taylor will go to a family's home and help them make the changes necessary to get a new job. I loved this show and thought it was honest and really liked her approach.

In the episode I watched there was a couple named the Sean and Michell Aughe with two small children living in a tiny apartment. They had been unemployed and on welfare for over two years.

Even thought neither of them were working the apartment was filthy and in the last year the husband had applied for only a couple of jobs.

It came out that Sean was deeply ashamed of his inability to earn a living and he had deep unresolved pain about his father which would manifest in him getting angry easily then running away physically and emotionally. The emotional vortex kept him from taking any action and the financial toll was wearing on the whole family.

The emotions were stopping the action.

Hayley Taylor came in and assessed the situation and forced the couple to look at the situation honestly.
The first thing she did was make them take responsibility for where they are.
Then they made them clean their home top to bottom.
She took them to a farm to get into movement and to experience the satisfaction of completing a good day's work.
Then she coached them on interviewing and helped them with their resume.

She helped them face their financial reality and showed them how they only had $39 per month to live on after expenses.
During the show -just as they were making progress- a notice came that their welfare benefits had been cut and they received an eviction
notice.

Then the couple hit the street and after months of no interviews
each had interviews the next day.

Hayley had them continue moving forward and start calling all
the places they had applied to.

The two places the couple applied to both said no - BUT something interesting happened.

Sean had applied for a job as a auto detailer - showed up to the job interview in a suit. The prospective employer didn't hire Sean but had taken the time to call a friend at another auto dealership and had told them about Sean and thought he would do well in the sales department; a kind of job he had never had before but the experienced employer saw he had potential for.

The farm where the couple had worked called Michelle back and offered her a part time to full time job and had temporary work for Sean starting the next day.

In a matter of weeks Sean had sold 11 cars earning $5000 in commissions alone plus the part time work had tided them over and Michelle was able to stay home with the kids.

Here's The One Command version of this- just as we teach in all of our
seminars and talk about all the time.

It was Michelle who was experiencing the most pain of the situation, having to care not only her small children but Sean who was internally and emotionally frozen in the position of being a kid who wanted his dad's love and acceptance.

She knew what she really wanted and needed (aka her hopes -wishes and desires) but didn't know how to change the situation, she had run out of options. To stay in relationship with the frozen Sean she had to
get more limited herself.

>>It was she who connected to something greater outside of herself - a TV show. She didn't know how this could help but it sparked the idea of a new possibility in the couple, something they hadn't experienced in a long time.

>>By being a a relationship with a new person it caused them to look at their situation in a new way -as observers which was the beginning of their awakening.

>>They had to tell the truth about their situation
>>Take 100% responsibility for where they were.
>>They got into action beginning with their surroundings
>>Looked at the behavior that would support or defeat their desired outcome
>>Honestly assessed their combined abilities and lack of ability
>>Uncovered the beliefs that were stopping them
>>Got into alignment with their values namely being productive and good parents to their children.
>>Their experience of being on welfare was in conflict with their inner identity of being productive and successful.
>>They created a greater vision of what they wanted and how this all fit into the grand scheme of things.

>>>>They continued to to move past their discomfort, they took action even when it felt wrong.<<<<<

>>Finally when they had wins they marked the moments and celebrated with hugs and acknowledgments and gratitude.

I'd also like to note that Asara teaches and I agree, that when the welfare was pulled away- even though it looked like bad timing - was the signal that they no longer needed it; that they were more than able and ready to step into a new experience of success.

These folks did this with the help of a compassionate coach who was willing to tell them the hard truth in a loving way.

There was still "powering through" and since the likelihood that we could each have a television show that is committed to having their a happy ending at our disposal is slim to none, we suggest connecting to your greater capacity through the Theta brainwave.

Meet yourself in the moment,
Tell the truth in a loving way about where you are now
Identify what you want instead
Command for what you want to create.
Take action as you can -even if it doesn't pay off immediately
Prepare for your good to arrive.
When you get feedback adjust your behavior as necessary.
Mark the moments.

Repeat as needed. ( OK I got that from my shampoo bottle but good advice is good advice! )

Sometimes we need help going through this process. I'm sure the couple read those exact steps hundreds of times in their search for a solution but were so entrenched they simply couldn't do them alone.

That is why I offering coaching, and am sure that is why Bonnie, Katie and our wonderful practitioners and teachers do the same.

Dear Friends,

In 2005, I took a Theta Healing Certification course with Asara Lovejoy and Kathryn
Perry. This was one of the first courses I took in energy clearing and it was my entry
into truly healing myself. During that 3 day course, I got to know Kathryn and really
came to appreciate her and her unique, intuitive talents.

She moved back to Washington with Asara and worked there for the next few years.

Bonnie's One Command Car- Yeehaw!!

Anything can happen when you Command for what you want and stay open to how it can show up for you.

I have a great success story about getting a car. My old car was getting on in years & we knew that we had, at best, another year before things started falling apart on her.
We’d set aside a bit of money to find a good used car, but I decided to do some Commanding to get a nice luxury car—like an older BMW. I wanted a much nicer car than I
had ever had and I was curious what Commanding for one would bring me. Our son-in-law works for BMW, so we told him what we wanted & asked him to keep an eye out for what would fit our needs & budget.

It seemed impossible that I would even command for a luxury car with the money we had—but I did my Commands and turned my arguments into new Commands. Every morning I’d call in my new car—thinking it would be this small, older BMW. Weeks went by with nothing in our price range coming through. I just kept my focus on what I wanted, regardless of how improbable it seemed to get a luxury car for so little money.

The other day my husband asked if I’d be interested in an older Volvo & after thinking about it, I agreed. Within an hour our son-in-law contacted us & asked if we’d be interested in a 2004 Volvo SUV. I knew that, because I stayed open to the form in which my car would show up, I allowed in an even better car than I imagined possible.
We went the next morning to look at it and Wow! what a beautiful car. Logically, none of this should have fallen in place to buy a luxury car for so little money. But when we use The One Command, we are stepping into infinite possibilities. I know it was the Commanding and being open to receive my good that turned this into a great success
story.

This is a car that I never dreamed I could ever own—and now I do. That’s why I call it The One Command Volvo.

Happy Independence Day!
Hi Everyone,
I just got back from the big International New Age Trade show in Denver Colorado and got to hear Gary Zukov, author Seed of the Soul, Julia Cameron, author The Artist Way and Joan Borysenko, prolific writer on mind body healing.
I have to say it was very moving to hear each of them share their personal stories, for example: Gary talked about being a sex addict before awakened consciousness, and Julia shared her creative growth coming from, "the love of her life" cheating on her - often.

The inspiration of personal growth through difficult emotional upheavals goes on for all of us - I could identify completely with their pain and their overcoming.
I know my friendship with Kathryn Perry, my co-creator of so many inspiring ideas and events for The One Command has both challenged me to grow and supported me in the process. I often say, "I’m a work in progress."
I know for me I simply haven’t been able to do this human growing process on my own. I’ve been inspired by great teachers and helped by good friends. I think that is the way I see The One Command - as both teacher and friend.

I just got back from the big authors trade show in Colorado and wonder of wonders,
Gary Zukov spoke at the conference.
The photo is a little dark but it was an absolute joy to be in his presence and share his atmosphere of intelligence, love, curiosity and delight.

Another great moment was keeping rapt attention to Julia Cameron, author of The Artist Way. She is absolutely fascinating - her stories so from the heart and she lead us through songs from one of her 3 musicals. i was in tears in the photo I had with her because I was reminiscing about her influence in my creative life. Watch for her new book, The Creative Life coming soon.

When the One Command Doesn't Seem to Work

Some folks ask about what to do when they don't see the results right
away.
Katie is right, The One Command always works.
What a lot of people don't understand is there is a kind of pause
after making The One Command.

There is a period that you really don't know and things may seem a little
"blank"that's because The One Command is a physical event
your neurology is reorganizing and you are no longer operating
on automatic pilot ( or in your former programming which is a kind of trance
state).

Your mind is searching for clues and feedback based on your command.
When you have old thoughts or fearful thoughts come in - say to yourself
-out loud if you have to -
"Cancel, Cancel I am having new thoughts now!"

Then either restate your command or make some new commands
that fit your situation

Here are some commands that might help

I don't know how The One Command
works I only know it does now and I am fulfilled."

I don't know how it feels to know my hopes and wishes can come true and are
coming true now
I only know it is so now and I am fulfilled!

I don't know how I have faith in my greater capacity to create and manifest
I only know I do now and I am fulfilled.

It has been said that the 7th step of The One Command is inspired action.
When you get an idea to do something, try following up on it instead of
talking yourself out of it. You may be surprised to find out that your
subconscious mind has been trying to tell you how to find opportunity all along,
you just haven't been in the habit of listening to your own wisdom.

Remember you said "I don't know how..." and that is the magic of the process,
allow yourself to not know how.
Begin to prepare yourself for the positive outcome.

Are you commanding for more money?
If the money came in what would be the 1st thing you'd do
write checks? Get them ready.

If you were commanding for more business and the new business showed up are you
ready?
Get ready,clean your office or store, have order forms ready,
do all the things you would do if they were already there.

Commanding for a love relationship?
Get your home ready, start eating dinner the way you would if you were with your
love, dress for yourself the way you would for a coffee date. Buy new undies, do all
the things you would do if you met someone new.

When your command manifests it will seem like the next natural thing to happen.
So natural you might even forget what you commanded for which is why success
journals and circles are so important.

Keep at it, the process of being awake in your life and committing
to your growth alone is totally worth it. Then when you begin the true power
you have in the world you will feel like a Jedi knight only cooler.

Are Hidden Money Beliefs Hurting You or Helping You?

A little girl was once given a handful of pennies by her mother, "Those are your pennies, be sure to watch after them," was the only instruction she received.

All day long the little girl clutched the pennies as she went through her day until she laid them down at the playground to go play with her friends.

When she returned the pennies were gone. She was heartbroken and went crying to her mother that someone had taken her pennies. Her mother was angry with her for losing the pennies and while scolding her told her, "You will always lose money!"

When the little girl grew up and went out into the world she struggled financially. There was always a good reason, unexpected expenses, sudden loss of work, bad relationships and other unforeseen obstacles. She believed in hard work and saving but it seemed no matter how hard she tried, she always lost money.

The incident with the pennies had been forgotten. It wasn't until she was in a One Command session with one of our leaders, that she remembered it. She also recalled how hurt she had been by her mother, as a child she was not allowed to express her feelings. In The One Command process she took a quantum leap in moments and stopped the shame and anger that had been locked away for so many years.

As an adult, when she looked back, she understood her mother had been trying to teach her the value of money but instead the suggestion, "You'll Always lose money" became embedded deep in her subconscious thoughts. One, because of the heighted emotional state she was in at the time and next, because children accept such statements without question. The young woman had accepted "You'll Always lose money" and as a result anytime she had money it had to be lost.

In her One Command session the program was identified and the young woman was able to forgive her mother and was immediately relieved. She was able to understand why she had been losing money and living with a deep sense of shame because of an unconscious belief she had accepted when she was a small child. I know from work with my clients that feeling peaceful and confident is a much better state of being in which to operate, and to when freed of an unconscious program you become free to make conscious choices and to benefit from the results of those choices.

How do you think this one belief about money affected other areas of her life? If a person feels on some deep level they aren't safe or have no value or can't be trusted, do you think that would affect their relationships? Of course it does, there's no way it can't.

We all have beliefs about money. The rich do, the poor do and everyone in between have beliefs about cash, profits and financial ups and downs. Most beliefs operate below our conscious awareness so it is difficult to know the program or belief, we can only know the results of the belief - what happens in our daily life with money.

What many people don't realize is that the belief about money is not really about money, it's about one's place in the world, one's worth and money is a symbol of that place or relationship within the self and with others. This is the reason The Commanding Wealth Seminar was designed, to uncover the hidden beliefs and to transform them with The One Command process.

In addition to instilling new beliefs and programs, the seminar teaches skills and strategies to create wealth from one's greater capacity.

Here are my feelings I want to share with everyone .............

I am on Whidbey Island, at Asara's home, waiting to start the Leadership Course which starts the next morning.
The weather is beautiful, Asara's home is beautiful and the gardens are magnificent. I'm so excited to be here.

It's been a whirlwind! In just two weeks after hearing the words, "I don't know how" (+ a little more info) I went to the Practitioners Course in New Mexico, came home, did laundry, and re-packed for Whidbey.

In my excitement, I never gave it a thought when I finally realized Asara has a dog and a cat. I am allergic to cats and dogs. I didn't say anything but then I started to wheeze, so I mentioned it to Kathryn and Kathryn said, "Not to worry; that's something Asara can take care of for you. That evening I asked Asara if she would help.

Right there, standing in the kitchen with all the leaders surrounding the both of us, Asara took me through the One Command with the added element for physical healing. We didn't have to turn down the lights, add candles and I didn't have to dress in a tu-tu!!!!! In other words, TOC is simple and exquisite ...... because I stopped wheezing and the rest of the course, Ms Parker (dog) and Sestec (cat) we hung out constantly. What a beautiful experience. What a substantial verification TOC works.

What if you could not only retrain your brain, but change your physical neurology as well? How about replacing the blueprint for health that has produced an overweight, overtired, overstressed you, for a slim, strong, vibrant you?

We are all actually masters, we have simply forgotten how to create what we want to be, or have, or do...and so we have what we think about most. We tend to think about our cares and woes, sometimes developing addictions to our losses, and our griefs.

We can change what we think about in various ways, we can just STOP IT (like the old Mad TV skit with Bob Newhart), or we can meditate, or receive therapy, or...we can change how we think by going to the theta brain wave, where we are most open and receptive to input, and command changes within our brains and our emotional receptors.

We can actually create new lives for ourselves, no matter what appears to be reality on the outside. We can decide not to agree with the accepted 'reality' and set ourselves apart from it, create time in a bottle, and also change our molecules. We can access that greater parts of us, and gather all the information in the world in order to create anew.

There are easy ways and difficult ways to get that higher level. Going to theta is the most straightforward. We can train for years to get there, or we can simply close our eyes, follow the light up through the top of our heads and out into space, letting our eyes roll toward our foreheads and feel the shift to theta. In this space, this theta level, we are in the subtle fields of energy, harmonizing with all that is. This is a physical event, a kinesthetic anchor at a neurological level.

It is in this state that we can make our commands and get results immediately. What would it be like if you could create cash, health, great relationships, instantly? How would you experience your life if you had the life you desire? How would your behavior change if it were easy to have what you want, rather than the difficult experience you now expect?

Think about that for a moment.

In theta we learn by direct knowledge, from the knowledge and experience of all that has gone before. Our greater capacity knows what we want, and how to manifest it. We tap that greater capacity in theta. From Chaos to Creation

By all measurable standards, we appear to be at the end point of an economic crisis. Our leaders are working to find the best ways to remedy the situation and there is considerable disagreement among those leaders on what those best solutions are.

So what can we as individuals do to help ourselves? How can we change what we are experiencing on a day by day basis? Ironically, the only successful approach is to begin by changing ourselves, and that has always been true.

The Good News is….

We can re-create the world without effort, without fear and angst, without posturing, and with grace. We can release our confusion, anger, frustration, and fear and replace those feelings with peace, prosperity and healing.

What are the events and beliefs and feelings that are bothering you the most? Are you job hunting and being told your chances are slim? Did your 401K almost disappear? Is your house in foreclosure? Well, what about addressing those issues in a way that takes you above them and creates peace within, changing the terms of your reality?

You can create the life you want, by getting clear about what you want and Commanding for it and by going through the 6 Structures of Belief. By knowing exactly what you want, and focusing on what you want with The One Command, you are creating an entirely new life.

What?

With The One Command and the 6 Structures of Belief you have the tools to change your inner being and your view of the world at large and your place in it.

There is a vital energy field that permeates all thought and space in the form of potential and is the essential un-manifested field from which we create physical
matter. We call this our Source state.

This is a place where you cannot consciously see what is happening within your normal perception because it is below your awareness, but there is a lot of activity there, and you can actually create and manage what happens there.

Hello

I just had a fabulous course in Dallas, TX with some pretty amazing ladies this past weekend in
Dallas, TX.

The more I present this course the more I am convinced we need to take this course
to the world in a bigger way.

Here's a case in point:
We were going through the issue of clutter in one's life. It was a particular issue with several people in class so it was a perfect topic to examine.

We may have some ideas about clutter:

It's an expression of inner clutter
It's about delaying making a decision
It's self punishment or delay of reward
It's a strategy to hide from life
It's passive-aggressive behavior
It's a way of staying in relationship with a parent by adopting their dysfunction as one's own

Of course people who are buried under clutter think they may know why
and may try to buy systems or have professionals come in to organize the mess,
but the truth is unless the unresolved issue that CREATED the clutter
is resolved them the clutter will return often to an even greater extent.

In this class exercise we used the Six Structures of Belief to examine the
issue and was able to very quickly uncover the underlying beliefs and programs
of the students and the rules that were holding the beliefs and values the clutter was supporting.
We asked some questions about the clutter in this way:

The Environment - When did this issue start and were is the clutter?
The Behavior - Has this always been the case? What steps have you taken in the past to address this issue?
Capabilities - Are you able to commit a small amount of time each day to clearing the clutter?
Beliefs/Values - What do you think about the clutter? What does the clutter keep you from having, being or doing?
Identity - What do you think people would say about out you as a person who has clutter or who can't manage their possessions?
Spirituality - If you gave up the clutter how would that enhance your spiritual life? If you never clear the clutter how would it enhance your spiritual life?

Does that surprise you that clutter may actually support a positive intention about
being a good person? Did you know that most limiting programs serve that
exact purpose?

We were also able to identify the unexpressed or unresolved pain that
the clutter was trying to cover and hide.

Many were surprised to find out what was actually at the bottom of the issue and with
The One Command they were able to connect to their own greater capacity to
find a new way to uphold the positive value while creating an organized and more supportive environment that is more conducive to living a happy, healthy life.

This one issue was like a clog in the life of every person there and it was very interesting
to see how all the areas of the students' lives were affected by this issue. Once the clutter no
longer became a consideration then it opened up a flow of energy that empowered the students.

It is so gratifying to be a part of a process that empowers others AND can help
create an income stream in these very interesting economic times.

I will be in Albuquerque, NM April 30 to May 2nd teaching the next
Practitioner Certification Course.

There is no pre-requisite to attend the course, but it is a pre-requisite for The Leadership Courses May 7-16 and the Coaching Program Facilitator's training.
